MATERIALS: *Crochet Hook "I" (or whichever size you need to obtain gauge)
*4-Ply Worsted Weight Yarn in Yellow and Peach
(Red Heart Brand #324 Bright Yellow and #327 Light Coral used in model)
*Crochet Marker (such as a split ring)
*Tapestry Needle (to weave in ends)
INSTRUCTIONS:
With Yellow yarn, ch 4 and sl st into first ch to make a ring.
(The following are worked in rounds):
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 8 sc in the hole made by your ch ring.
Place a marker in the last (8th) sc - move the marker to the last stitch in each round to help mark your place.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (16 sc)
Rnd 3: (2 sc in next st, sc in next st) around (24 sc)
Rnd 4: Repeat Round 3. Sl st into next sc and finish off. (36 sc)
Join Peach yarn with sl st into any sc:
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in that same space, (hdc in next st, 2 dc in next 2 sts,
hdc in next st, sc in next 2sts) repeat around, join with sl st
to first sc (48 sc)
Rnd 6: Sc in next st, (hdc in next st, dc in next st, 2 dc in next 2 sts,
dc in next st, hdc in next st, work sc decrease in next 2 sts)
repeat around - with one sc in last st, join with sl st to first
sc and finish off (54 sc)
