~ Helping Hands Page ~
This page is dedicated to volunteer projects
that crafters can get involved in.
The following web sites have information
on craft projects that are made by
volunteers (like you!) to give to others in need.
Please visit one of these sites!
The Virtuous Woman: "Her worth is far above jewels.
She looks for wool and flax and works with her hands in delight.
She stretches out her hands to the distaff, and her hands grasp the spindle.
She extends her hand to the poor, and she stretches out her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of the snow for her household, for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
She makes coverings for herself; Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
She makes linen garments and sells them...
Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she smiles at the future.
Give her the product of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates." (Proverbs 31:10, 13, 19-22, 24-25, 31)
Isn't it wonderful that the Lord tells us that the virtuous woman is one who is also talented in needlework! What an inspiration for all of us crafters! Let's remember to use the talents the Lord has given us to help others - especially those in need. ~ Cherie
