Cherie Marie Leck is a professional designer with hundreds of her designs featured in national
magazines, books, kits, and leaflets. Her current patterns are sold online through this website, Ravelry, Etsy, E-patternscentral, Annie's and were available in Hobby Lobby Stores nationwide. She strives to share her love for the Lord in all of her patterns.
Cherie began cross-stitching, sewing, and crocheting at age 7 and hasn't put her needles down since! As a child she would often create her own hand-made crafts as gifts
for friends and family.
In 1991, she began designing professionally, and sold her first cross-stitch patterns to Crafts Magazine. She then branched into designing plastic canvas, bead, and crochet patterns in addition to cross
stitch, which have been sold to numerous publications.
In February of 1999, Cherie created her own website to showcase her published works and to share her free original designs, how-to's, projects for charity and more with crafters from around the
world. You will find a little something for everyone here - including kids and beginners. Every pattern she makes for her site is designed to be fun and easy to stitch. Check out the 100+ FREE patterns available to anyone who visits this site - for a taste of her fun and creative designs.
As her site grew more popular, Cherie decided to make her current designs available directly to stitchers. Her on-line shops contain over 300 patterns of her original patterns for sale in cross-stitch, plastic canvas, beading and
crochet. Her current best-selling designs include her Angels, Kitty Faces, Lighthouses and Bible Bookmarks.
Craft Designs for You is continually growing and remains a Family-Owned and Operated Business! Recently expanded are their line of Hand-Carved, one-of-a-kind Crochet hooks - made especially for the crocheter's ease with their signature wide comfortable handles and beautiful designs. Cherie's husband, Ken, a talented woodcarver, hand carves and creates each beautiful crochet hook.
